Duante’ Brown, also known throughout the community as Duante’ Balenciaga hails from the DC Metropolitan area. Duante’ Brown, an Alum of Norfolk State University, has worked within the field of HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention and treatment, as well as Human Services for over a decade. He specializes in working with marginalized groups of people; LGBTQIA+ community, people living with HIV/AIDS, women of color, individuals experiencing homelessness, returning citizens, individuals with mental health diagnoses, etc.
Duante Brown, also holds the role of a community organizer and sits on the board of both National LGBTQIA+ organizations, as well as local organizations. He is a “Legend,” in the House and Ballroom community and East Coast Father for the Legendary House of Balenciaga. The man behind Devious Designz, sees the impact the social unrest is having on the LGBTQIA+ Black community and sees the moment deserves a symbol of uplift & strength. He holds passion for this topic and is willing to speak in favor, when necessary.
Duante’ has long discovered that his purpose in life is to assist the plight of others in bettering themselves mentally and emotionally, as well as making personal life decisions that will keep the torch burning for the next generation.
